What Sooner Pest & Lawn is
Sooner Pest & Lawn is an independent Oklahoma resource for lawn care, tree work, pest control, wildlife removal and gutter cleaning. We publish practical, Oklahoma-specific guides, and when a homeowner wants help, we connect them with local service providers.
We do not perform lawn, tree, pest, wildlife or gutter work ourselves. The companies you speak with are independent businesses responsible for their own work, licensing, insurance, scheduling and terms.
What happens when you call or send the form
- You tell us what is going onBy phone or with the short form: the service, your ZIP code and how to reach you.
- We route your requestCalls are connected and form requests are passed to a local provider who serves your area and handles that type of work.
- The provider contacts youUsually by phone, to talk through the problem and arrange a visit if one is needed.
- You decideYou are never obligated to hire anyone. Any agreement for work is between you and the provider.
How we are paid
Service providers pay us a referral fee when we connect them with a customer. You do not pay us anything, and the fee does not change what you are offered. This is how we keep the guides on this site available without paywalls.
Where the honest answer is that you do not need to hire anyone, such as bermuda that is simply dormant in winter or a seasonal nuisance bug that sealing a door will solve, we say so.
About the providers
We aim to work with providers who hold the licenses Oklahoma requires for their trade, such as Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry licensing for pesticide and lawn-treatment applicators, and who carry insurance. Because they are independent businesses, we cannot guarantee their work. Always ask for license numbers, proof of insurance and a written scope before work begins.
Your information
When you submit the form, we use your details only to connect you with a provider for the service you asked about. By submitting, you agree that a provider may contact you by phone or text about your request. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. If you would rather not be contacted, simply tell the provider or reply STOP to any text message.
Independence
Sooner Pest & Lawn is not affiliated with the University of Oklahoma, any government agency or any single service company. “Sooner” refers to the state we serve.
